We have different skin types and severity of acne, so we have different treatments. All we need to have is to understand the factors that cause acne and use the appropriate treatments for that acne.

Salicylic acid is used to treat mild to moderate acne. It can be potentially damaging to skin in high concentrations, but is helpful in low concentrations.
